We are OFSTED inspected and are able to claim nursery funding for three‑year‑olds, starting from the term after their third birthday. Funded sessions are paid directly to the school by the government, so there is no cost for funded hours.

 

Funded Childcare

 

• 15/30 hours funded childcare is available for eligible working families of 3 and 4 year‑olds.

• Funding can be shared between settings where applicable.

Parents and carers eligible for the extended entitlement will receive an eligibility confirmation from HMRC and must apply for a working family eligibility code via: https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

Additional Hours

If you do not qualify for funded childcare, or wish to access additional hours, your child may still attend Castlefields Nursery.

 

• Additional hours are charged at £5.50 per hour (to be reviewed in Summer 2026)
